Kangaku Pay Cut blocked
The second round of negotiations between The General Union and the Kangaku administration took place on February 29th. After an hour and 45 minute discussion, the Kangaku side agreed to rescind the salary reduction for those who were employed and continued to be employed from the 1998~99 school year. This means that those of us who have been working since 1998, our pay will stay unchanged.Unfortunately, those who started from 1999 will remain at their present salary scale.
