General Union members should email union@generalunion.org if you need any assistance.
Non-members are welcome to request a consultation by using the form below.
We also ask that non-members who are approaching the union with a existing labor issue do not submit a membership application form until after they have consulted with union staff.
Although we try to reply to consultation requests within a reasonable timeframe, this may not always be possible due to current union action (i.e. court cases), seasonal activity, or other issues and problems that we may be dealing with.
In addition, please note that we may not always be able to provide information on complicated issues to non-members, and ask for your understanding in this regard.
If you are experiencing a delay in reply, please do not send multiple requests via e-mail or Facebook.

Thank you for completing the consultation request form.
As previously stated, while we try to handle consultation requests as quickly as possible, replies may be delayed due to seasonal factors and other union activites.
With this in mind, please do not submit the same request (or a variation of the request) to the union via e-mail or Facebook as this can hinder our staff and cause further delay.
Please also note that the General Union is mostly operated by volunteers and, as such, is in no way obligated to reply to every consultation request that is submitted.
While unlikely, our staff reserve the right to decline to reply to certain requests at their own discretion.
Thank you for your time and understanding!
